The initial labwork for each of our patients is a sex-specific and customized collection of over 40 panels (100+ tests) that represent the cutting edge of diagnostic medicine. Dr. Partovi has developed this propriety collection of labs over a decade of work in diagnostic medicine and has been recognized by other physicians as one of the world’s experts in laboratory diagnosis. The collection includes:
- Comprehensive Hormone Testing – Evaluates the thyroid and the entire adrenal and sex steroid synthesis pathways to look for the source of any breakdowns in hormone production.
- Comprehensive Cardiometabolic Testing – Evaluates cardiovascular disease and diabetes risk (including specific genetics) and the markers for processes that lead to cardiovascular disease and diabetes even decades before they manifest.
- Comprehensive Celiac Testing – Rules out celiac disease and gluten allergy and sensitivity.
- Biotoxin Susceptibility Screening – Evaluates genetic risk for biotoxin illness, one of the most common hidden causes of chronic disease.

Frequently asked Questions
What lab tests are included? Is this an additional cost and if yes, how much?
The lab order requisitions are included, and the cost for the labwork is not included and dependent on each person’s insurance coverage. We encourage patients to reach out to their insurance provider to determine the preferred laboratory provider for their insurance plan and to communicate the preferred laboratory provider to us at registration. We cannot guarantee insurance coverage of the labs ordered; as all coverage decisions are between you, the lab, and your insurance provider.
What if I don’t have insurance?
For those with no current health insurance, we recommend going to www.healthcare.gov and enrolling in a Bronze (or higher) PPO plan to mitigate the cost of labwork. If you don’t qualify for one of the Affordable Care Act subsidies, we recommend reaching out to a local health insurance broker to determine the best value in health insurance for your family. For those who are Medicare-eligible, we recommend a Medicare Advantage PPO plan to maximize your lab coverage. If you are self-insured, then many labs offer patient prepay pricing on the labs we order. We do have a competitive cash option for the lab orders; so, please reach out to our office if you are interested in that option.
What is included after the initial month?
You will receive an invitation to a monthly community Zoom follow up session with Dr. Partovi at which time you will be able to get your questions answered and learn from the questions of others. During these sessions, Dr. Partovi may also tweak your protocol based on your progress. There will also be other sessions with other providers to address the specific interests and needs of our community. At 3 months, you will receive a follow up lab order to recheck any abnormal labs from the first round. Once you’ve had your labs drawn and the results are final, one of our providers will reach out to you to schedule a one-on-one Zoom to review the lab results and make adjustments to your protocol as indicated by the results. At the 9 month mark, we will recheck any abnormal labs, review and make changes to your protocol.
You will have access to our providers via email, if you have any questions between the monthly group community calls.
Is there a “get out” clause?
Because our care occurs in 3-month cycles, anyone can cancel with 90-days notice. Your monthly charge will continue to be due and billed monthly until 90 days after you give notice. This window gives us a chance to onboard a new patient from the waitlist while you’re winding down as well as to complete any services we’ve promised you as well as to receive any payments for services already rendered.
Follow up appointments/help?
Beyond the follow up visits that are included for everyone after the initial lab review (see above), you will have the opportunity to add on (at an extra— albeit reduced— cost) additional one-on-one visits with Dr. Partovi, Kim, Mojdeh, or any of our other providers if you so desire.
Will you give us referrals to other doctors after lab results if needed?
Of course, if we see something in the lab results that cannot be handled 100% remotely, either we will refer you to a local specialist directly or to your local primary care physician to make the referral (whichever is allowed by your insurance plan).
What report comes back, what level of details?
You will receive a copy of each round of your lab results, your SWAMI XP nutrition plan, and your personalized nutraceutical protocol via Fullscript.
Comprehensive Labs – Most doctors run the same 5 panels on everyone, and when the results come back within the standard reference ranges, tell you that you’re fine and that they’ll see you in a year. Our Comprehensive Lab evaluation includes over 40 panels (over 100 tests) customized based on your health concerns and a thorough lab review visit during which you will get all of your questions about your lab results answered. The intention of this level of comprehensive evaluation is both to determine the underlying cause(s) of any current symptoms you may be experiencing and to identify disease processes years (sometimes even decades) before the disease manifests.
SWAMI XP Nutrition Plan – After incorporating genetics, epigenetics (the volume-control settings on your genes), biochemical lab data, family health history, personal health history, presenting symptoms, and biometrics (measurements of the body)— SWAMI XP performs 12,600,000 individual calculations on 225 individual nutrient values found for each of 800 different foods. The resulting incredibly detailed, reader-friendly, and versatile Nutrition Plan, Recipe Book, and Online Meal Planner allows us to add an astounding amount of detail and efficacy to your dietary and nutraceutical recommendations.
Personalized Nutraceutical Protocol – Diseases are disruptions of molecular systems. Drugs are disruptors of molecular systems. Robust systems respond efficiently to disruptions, whereas fragile systems usually cannot handle even basic disruptions. Unlike drugs, which seek to treat disease by creating a disruption to the system equal and opposite to that of the disease, natural treatments in general and nutraceuticals in particular seek to augment the robustness of the system, leaving it empowered and enabled to efficiently and effectively handle the disruptions that would otherwise cause disease. Each of our patients receives a personalized nutraceutical protocol via Fullscript at the conclusion of their lab review visit and adjustments made every 3 months at your follow-up lab reviews. You will also have the opportunity to have additional items added by Dr. Partovi on a monthly basis as needed on our community Zoom gatherings.
How will this help my health?
That is largely up to you. In other words, you will get out of this process what you put into this process. If you truly take on being 100% coachable by our team for at least a year, what’s predictable is that you will experience an extraordinary transformation in and elevation of your health and well-being. If you’re at least 80% compliant, you will likely experience a clear benefit. If you’re even 50% compliant with our recommendations, you may experience improvements in some areas and not others. Below 50% compliance, it becomes impossible to predict. Our goal is to give you the tools to optimize your own wellness and then walk alongside you as you deal with the implementation of those tools and support you as you deal with breakdowns and experience breakthroughs along the way!
Any prescriptions prescribed after results?
Yes. Because our approach is to treat the cause of illness, not just the symptoms, we generally require final lab results before we’ll start treatment. Each of our patients receives a personalized nutraceutical protocol via Fullscript at the conclusion of their lab review visit.
